Aperture Podcast

In this conversation, Dr. Stanley Krippner, a prominent figure in parapsychology, discusses his extensive research on dream telepathy, particularly the groundbreaking studies conducted at the Maimonides Dream Laboratory. He explains the structure of these experiments, the significance of dreams in telepathy research, and the famous Grateful Dead concert experiment. Dr. Krippner also addresses skepticism surrounding parapsychology, the influence of environmental factors on telepathy, and the overlap between dream telepathy and remote viewing. He concludes with insights on the practical applications of dream incubation and the foundational role of consciousness in understanding anomalous cognition. In this engaging conversation, Ryan Kralik and Stanley Krippner explore a range of topics from Krippner's early career at Kent State University to his insights on parapsychology, child psychology, and the role of psychedelics in healing. They discuss the importance of grounding in mainstream disciplines for aspiring researchers, the unfinished business in parapsychology, and the intersection of anomalous experiences with practical applications. Krippner also emphasizes the need for inclusivity in discussions about sexuality and the impact of societal norms on individual well-being.

In the inaugural episode of the Aperture Podcast, host Ryan Kralik sits down with the team from Future Forecasting Group — Dick Allgire, Daz Smith, Edward Riordan, and Nyiam Vendryes — for a deep dive into the theme of the current issue of Aperture: Remote Viewing the Future. The conversation covers the theory behind precognitive remote viewing, why forecasting the future is fundamentally different from viewing the present or past, the observer effect and remote influence, how FFG separates signal from noise in crypto forecasting, and a wide-ranging walkthrough of the team's documented hits — from predicting the 2024 presidential race to eerily specific pre-cognitive sessions on the Charlie Kirk shooting, the Trump assassination attempts, the COVID-19 origin, and more. The group also discusses methodology (CRV, SRV, ERV, HRVG), the emotional toll of viewing difficult targets, the state of the wider remote viewing community, and where the craft may be headed as AI and blockchain technology intersect with anomalous cognition research.
